Donators are not OP

I'm posting this due to the fact of this topic coming up everywhere in OITC. For example:

Thank you @ItsJerry and @ItsHarry for combatting his statement of donators being OP.
However, it comes up most in the server itself, and there are a few videos I would like to share:


Gold swords = wood swords
Gold pants might seem to have the advantage, but when they take damage from the wood and gold swords, they take the same damage as the leather pants. Also, our swords have the same enchants. Some people think donators have sharpness 1 while the nondonors have nothing. when I hear that, I'm like, "DUDE, UR SWORD IS SHINY. LOOK AT IT." Both the wood sword and gold sword have knockback 1 , sharpness 1, and unbreaking something.

I agree with you. The only thing that is the difference is the double xp.

 

doesn't make us OP. I was good before I donated. You still have to be really good with the 2ble xp to get on the leader board. It's not double xp, it's 200 exp for every kill instead of 100.

Very true, the only reason most people get it is because they are in it for the DBL EXP

That happens alot trust me. Its not my fault I donated. A long time ago one of my best buds bought me VIP. I was screaming :p
But cmon, get pro noobs and learn to lose.
I mean I'm not even good at OITC so yeah.

I think they're MAD because they think they'll never have a chance to be on the leaderboards,since donators have Double EXP.Some people live far away from the Netherlands and don't even know what is PayPal.So they can't buy the ranks or perks even if they want to.This makes a quarrel to start between Donors and non-Donors,They will be MAD at us especially when they see the leaderboard filled with donor names.It seemed that way to me ;)

 

Lots of people play for the leaderboards and can't make it close because they don't have a rank. Anyone who is on the leaderboards doesn't just play for winning individual games, that would get very boring, to play thousands of games. Slightly p2w is not necessarily a bad thing, a server needs to make money, but it's true nonetheless.

I wouldn't (and didn't) say it's OP for playing OITC. But it is for leaderboards.

 

Well saying it's OP for the lboards is inaccurate. People on the leaderboards happen to be very good anyway.

 

A-flippin-greed. Everyone targets me in Herobrine's Chamber just because of my green nametag. They also think I have some sort of extra-knockback or point multiplier or something.

 

OITC? No, they aren't OP.
They ARE OP in Factions, and I'm saying this from a donator's perspective.
I'm still waiting for them to change that...

 

Well, what is "OP" is subjective, but 2x easier to get on top is OP to me.
I agree that it is not good to blame your loss on donators.

 

People on the leaderboards aren't good, they just decided they would waste a load of their time on this game to keep themselves up on the leaderboards. Someone at the bottom of the leaderboards could easily beat someone from the top.

Uh, not tru at all. Ur saying that everyone on the leaderboards sucks and just got on because they played alot? thats not tru at all

 

It's twice as much. It is twice as easy to get on the leaderboards.

I never said any such thing. I said people being on the leaderboards does not equal to being skilled, it just means they waste a load of time on it.
