Can't be as bad as this case scenario:

Teacher: Alright class, bring out your textbooks, I told you we would use them one day and today's the day!
Class: *Looks frantically around each other to see if anyone has textbooks*
Teacher: What is the matter?
Me: *Raises hand* Well, as you can see, nobody brought their textbooks.
Teacher: WHAT?! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! ALL OF YOU, REPORT TO ME FOR SILENT LUNCH FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK AND BRING YOUR TEXTBOOKS WITH YOU!
*Kid in class* Yeah, we all burned the books earlier, *snickers* *Whispers to guy next to him, "I wish we could."*
Teacher: BURNED IT?! ALL OF YOU! BRING $80 TO REPLACE THE DARNED TEXTBOOKS! AND REPORT FOR DETENTION AFTER SCHOOL FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK!
Me: *Raises hand* But that is a lie! Not all of us have bur-
Teacher: I don't want to hear it! Do it or report to the front office!
Me: *Murmurs "F*** my life," under breath*
