Way to raise ye olde post count, Coleman. I would hope Minecraft Realms or MCProhosting, as they are much more reliable than many others including Stamminus
He means there is really no point to your post as i didnt add anything and it was just a way to raise your "Post Count" higher
Oh no. What I meant was, I don't know what the host is going to be but there is a post that harry did on the server news and I am actually very excited for it.
Idk were the host will be, but hopefully closer to me because On every server I get like 50 Ping and then on This server I get 150. D: Still okay but hopefully it can get better :P
+ Gthang told me that this company is for small servers and to get a "BIG" server like this one you have to partner with them so they get some of the money they are making off of donations.
All hosts use the money they are making from donations. Some just require more than others. ANYWAY J+H haven't revealed which host they use since MinecraftLayer... Staminus was the one exception in a while. Must be the first time they revealed that in a year. That being said, they never tell us their hosts (for good reason) And likely won't this time.
What would be their reason to not tell us? Wouldn't it be helpful for us because now we know not to use staminus and we know we should use whatever host they use now.
When making servers, you have to ask yourself, "What do I NOT want my members to do?" For security reasons, J&H keep the host private, so hackers and trolls do not abuse the host, DDoS it, and affect the server. As implausible as it may be, you need to remember: This is a huge YT community, full of kids. Trolls and hackers see this as an opportunity to to give themselves shits and giggles. Not to mention, you don't have to use their host. There are so many hosts out there(I prefer beastnode, just a preference) that it doesn't really matter.
Lookup the DNS of the play.itsjerryandharry.com sub-domain. Leads to an IP that successfully connects to the server. The IP relates to a nameserver from http://www.limestonenetworks.com/ I'm not a genius on this shit, but this is my best bet.
