If your friend sends you a message saying 'cough' or ANYTHING similar to it, you HAVE to unadd your friend. Failure to do this will result in a VaC Ban. This is an ongoing virus that has gone OUT of control. If you dare to play a source engine game, do not join a server have '!!!' in the server name. This may last for 1 week.

 

Well, good thing that I play on a private Hamachi server with friends using a local host :p. But thanks for the info!

You give a little too much fear to everyone.

It's not ANY steam game. It's particular Garry's Mod servers that are having the problem. TF2, Portal 2, etc are unaffected by this.
Also, they've pretty much already sent out a patch, from what I read.

I went on Gmod + TF2 and didn't see any problems. Did they fix this already?

 

Glad I don't play on Steam :p

 

TF2 is perfectly fine.
Portal 2 is perfectly fine.
GMod is now fixed.

 

I said Source Engine games. Examples:

Portal 1 + 2
Left for Dead 1 + 2
All Counter Strike Games
TF 1 + 2
GMod

I was playing TF2 with albinobat, Roc, and my friends last night. I think it's fixed, but be aware.

 

I only have TF2 because its great. I dont have Gmod because... I dont have money. Or a prepaid card! I consider myself lucky.
