WATCH OUT for this dangerous trick

Some people are using a certain method to get into bases to raid. They say something to convince you to /tpahere them. They usually say /spawn is not working for them, and ask if you can /tpahere them to spawn real quickly. They then usually do /spawn and appear as if you successfully teleported them to spawn, as wished. However, that tpahere request is still active and they can accept it at any time. They will wait and watch until you leave spawn, and will accept the request while you're in your base.

Never send /tpahere requests to people you don't know.

If you do send a request but did not go to your base yet, these are your options:

• Wait at spawn or leave the game until the server restarts
• Keep playing and go back to your base or whatever, but you must pay close attention to your chat constantly. If they do accept, whether if be after 10 minutes or 10 hours (the requests don't expire), you must disconnect quickly. If you disconnect too late (after the 5 second wait period), you are too late and they are in your base.
• Go to /warp help and crouch for a little while. They will think you left and went to your base, and will accept the request. Allow the request to go through, and if it does go through, the request will be cancelled. If it takes longer than 5 or 6 hours of waiting in /warp help, I recommend step 1.
• You can try sending them a tpa request, which will cancel the tpahere request you sent them earlier. This won't usually work though, because they almost always turn off their tp before you can do that.

If they accept the request when you are in your base, these are your options:

• Disconnect. Reconnect after 5 seconds
• Get raided

I hope this is helpful to some. Another recommendation, if you notice a certain player tries to scam you, don't trust them.

 

I feel dumb. A girl tried it on me, but good thing idgaf about Survival and just wasted her time by sitting in spawn.

You are not bad at raiding or anything but you have just tricked people from J&H. Go onto a real hardcore server and its a lot harder :P

It's just a trick to get in someone's base. Factions is all about strategy.

 

I agree, but even if you know the trick happened, you can't do much after the request was sent. That is the problem. There should be a command to cancel all requests you have sent.

 

Good thread, you are really putting an end to Kittycrap's tping strategy. It pisses me off that she thinks she is the "Master Raider" even though she has some dumb strategy that major factions know.

 

Actually, this server isn't for major raiding first of all. if it was there would be obsidian destroyer, if you think i'm wrong go fuck yourself. this is a wither or Great base type of server. tricking isn't just what i do. if this server had obby breaker i could bust through 40 walls of water into some shitty base for all i care. Ever heard of a Germany cannon? probley not. that's because me and my friends play and are known on a lot of actually GOOD RAIDING servers. this community is not so smart and i have posted on so many fucking threads and reply's that i'm not a girl. you seriously just start at least acting like you know factions. Also your not putting a end to me, ill go around on /f map on the whole day to find bases and raid the shit out of them. if you think you are so smart try raiding my base. 3 factions tried to get into my base for about a hour, what happend? They didn't even break through 1 layer, 1 LAYER. i only have 3 and the 3rd one is obsidian which is the final layer. you know if some people where to actually try and raid me they could maybe at the least break through 2 layers, if you want to try to raid my old base (working on my new one) i'll gladly let you. you wouldn't break if and there ARN'T EVEN TRENCHES.... you know how stupid that is if someone couldn't break into a shitty no trench or checkerboard roof'ed base? very. some people just think they are good but really don't know what good is..... good day.
