Apology and explanation

So, many of you know that I am the reason the shoutbox is gone. There are something I need to get out of the way.

@ItsHarry: I can see I offended you in the moments before the shoutbox was lost. Now, I know there is no restart button on life, and I can't travel back in time. So the best thing I can do now is apologize and explain.

When I said "You guys just don't seem to care about the forums" its not what I meant. When you said "Talk to me" I was in shock and under pressure. Really all I wanted to say was "Take away the shoutbox, as nothing but hate occurs here." However, the first thing that came to mind was "You guys don't seem to care, bla bla bla" and its not what I meant. However, the result was the same and the shoutbox was taken away. However, I still apologize for my actions, as they were not right.

@Everyone: Yes, I am the reason the shoutbox was taken away. Now, you all probably hate me for it. But stop typing and think. The shoutbox was nothing but hate. Flame wars were always happening. And I know that the mods can't be on 24/7, nor am I requesting it. I understand that the mods have lives, as I have had to explain it multiple times. With the shoutbox having almost nothing but hate, it needed to be taken away, otherwise it would have been a cause to the fall of these forums. It would have turned members against each other in war. People would only hate, and only a small group would be there, trying to restore peace. If that was not to happen, the shoutbox would have to be removed.

So, flame me bellow. If you see what I am talking about, then give me your feedback, comments and whatever else. However, do not treat me as a hero or a villain/enemy, as I am not one, and do not wish to be seen as one.

I Apologize too for what I did yesterday on the shout box. Same thing to PyroMancerMagic I apologize to all the rude and stupid stuff I said too you. I don't know what went down on me but im a nice person helping people. Not I think I was just being stupid and ignorite.

Also I apologize to the community and the people who where in the shout box yesterday.

And this to Itsjerry and ItsHarry, I apologize for the argument that just went on yesterday and one thing everything was my fault because I was the one who started this argument with PyroMancerMagic. This argument was not supposed to come up like this.

I hope the people of itsjerryandharry.com, PyroMancerMagic, and ItsJerry and Itsharry will accept my apology

Well here is my opinion on the situation. I do agree with you Pyro, now that you've said it, that you have made some flame wars go on. But, the shoutbox was a great place to have conversations. It WASN'T actually always hate. Yes, there's been some debates, and I'll list some of them down below.

-"Advertising the PS4" debate
-"You guys don't care about the server" debate
-"Albino, you actually have friends so stop saying that" debate
-the list goes on.

I know this isn't a thread about bringing back the shoutbox, but I feel that it needs to be said. The shoutbox was a place where people could talk. Don't hate me for this, but if you actually took the 5 seconds to listen to my suggestion, there would still be a shoutbox. The seven second cooldown was what made the shoutbox on the old forums bearable. You made people unable to post pictures in about 5 seconds, so why couldn't you just take the time to add the seven second cooldown instead of deleting the shoutbox altogether?

A cooldown wouldn't help. There would still be flame wars, they'd just go on longer than. People did use it to talk, however, a flame war erupted every minute almost. And it was a contant problem. If the forums are to survive, the shout box had to be removed.

 

Harry never wanted the shout box. He said it in the shout box and someone told me it. You start a lot of the flame wars, so I'm guessing that's why they call you "Pyro." Your really helpful with stuff and your nice at times, but you have this issue on where you have to prove your point until it starts something bad and people have to tell you to shut up. To be honest, I never thought of you as a hero/villain/enemy and I don't think I ever will. Also, don't tell me you don't start/get apart of flame wars cause you wrote in your little glory thread that we can flame on you. Take this as advice, not the start of something bad.

 

PyroMancerMagic you dont need to worry I was the one who started this arguement I know in your heart your a good guy dont worry.

Yes, I do take part in flame wars. Thats the truth, so I wouldn't say "I don't get in flame wars."

But what I find the most offending in this is that you think this is a "glory" thread. What makes you think this is such? I made an apology, not something to be considered a "hero" on. And whats worse is that your flaming on my apology. I said you could flame on me because i'm the reason the shoutbox is gone, not because my apology apparently isn't sincere enough for you. I didn't think I would have to explain that for you.

 

I still don't understand. Since it took place in like the 10 hours while I was asleep >.>

Now I clearly see the reason of why Harry removed the shoutbox, and probably will make an alternative with private conversations? :p

Since I really did not see what has happened, I can't judge, nor give a conclusion myself. Can't really take the story off what you said, because you've phrased yourself as the person who started it all, which is totally not true.

I actually am the one who started it. I basically gave Harry the middle finger and told him he didn't do enough for the server, which isn't what I meant to say. I've already cleared that up with him however.

The shoutout box was never a good idea to start with. There was rarely any good things said in there. I can understand why it was taken down. It's nice sometimes, but better not there then there.

 

it is better to have it taken down it was too much drama

 

I remember back when the shoutbox was a nice thing, shame it had to go to hell. Either way, we might be better without it.
