Does /spawner <mob> work?

I was wondering cuz I want to get some spawners and make some farms. Some people say you cant, others say u can.

 

Depends on what mob you choose.

yes, /spawner <mob> works for some common mobs. Also includes blazes =3

 

1. Place a spawner.
2. Do /spawner <mob>
3. Profit.

No, you cannot pick it up with a silk touch pic. If you need it moved, then get an Admin.

And i've heard that if you don't buy a spawner or rank, that you don't have access to /spawner

 

That's true, Pyro. You need a Donor rank or you need to have purchased spawners, otherwise anyone could just go anywhere and change spawners for you.

 

/spawner <Mob> Only works for some mobs and only works if your a donatro like me.
If you didnt donate then go to the donation website
OR you can look for a donator in game to change the mob for you
the last one is more easy...-er

 

Yes it's true that u need to buy spawners or be a donor.im a legend rank.

 

only people who bought 5 mobspawners from store or donators have access to the /spawner command
but this does work, as far as i know

/spawner was an old command for donors before server revamp. Looked through the buycraft, no /spawner. If you want spawner changed, ask a mod or anyone who donated before the server revamped. Most of them still have the command :)
