Do you believe in aliens?

    We all know that the universe is a very large finite space and is rapidly expanding. Earth is one of the few planets in our solar system. And our solar system is one of the many galaxies in our milky way. Our milky way is only one of the uncountable amount of galaxies in the universe.

    Approximately 4.54 billion years ago our Earth was formed out of hot plasma which cooled down into molten rock and pulled together into a big sphere because of gravitational forces. Then 1 or 2 billion years later life existed. Microscopic bacteria were the first organisms on our planet, created from random organic molecules (boom, DNA). Together with the Endosymbiotic theory and natural selection these bacteria evolved into eukaryotes which further evolved into the organisms we are today. It was quite a coincidence I must say.

    Anyways, back to the main question of this thread. Now that you know how life began on Earth. Do you think aliens exist? (Aliens are life not originated from Earth. These don't have to be weird skinny creatures with big eyes, bacteria from other planets count as aliens too)

    Personally, I'm almost certain there is alien life. Our universe is HUGE, and it's nearly impossible that in this gigantic space we are the only planet where life coincidentally formed.

    Saul you obviously did not read my entire thread because I clearly stated that aliens can be small bacteria. Do you think bacteria will communicate with us? No. You failed your test

    I believe in Aliens, I mean, the universe is so big, like Michio Kaku said, if you think we are alone in the universe, thats the hight of arrogance, we aren't alone.

    yes there is like u said jerry, they can be TINY organisms! THEY FOUND WATER ON MARS which might mean an organism without needing oxygen may live there :eek:

    I believe that there is Alien life somewhere out there. Even though i have seen Mysterious Lights in the Sky. But I dont think that there is Alien life out there that would want to Kill us. Like in Independence day. Or Pacific rim. Nothing like that.

    I don't believe in things unless there is proof (Not being offensive to religious people) So I won't believe in aliens until I see true proof.

    Life was created on earth by accident, Don't know how it started but a chain of events led to the first bacteria ever existing.. But did it start on earth, or did it arrive in the form of a meteor? Maybe all life on earth originated from that one meteor? What if we are all aliens? Anyways... I do think that some form of life exists out there, but it would be completely different than what you see here on earth

    I believe aliens are real. But to an extent...

    I believe that the aliens live in another galaxy, not like Mars or the Moon or something. I believe they live a habitable environment, in which us humans can't live on.

    EDIT: And to them, they think we're aliens. :)

    I honestly have to agree, there has to be alien life.
    We don't know how the first bacteria actually arrived on the earth. However. If it was able to, it surely must have appeared on one of the many other planets suitable for life.
    Honestly, it is possible that aliens could be bacteria, and I think that this is most likely. I wouldn't be all too surprised. In fact, attempts to find life on Mars may just be successful as well.
    I think we have identified 9 planets that could support life, and that's just a small part of the universe. I think it is inevitable that there is alien life.
    I don't think that they will invade anytime soon XD however, if some sort of aliens were able to come to earth, it wouldn't be a huge war if there was a conflict. Mainly because....
    Anything that has the power to travel light years within a constrained amount of time had the ability to murder us all, clearly XD it would be like Samurai Warriors trying to fight a tank if there was a war, we would lose XD
    But once again, I doubt that would ever happen any time in the future.

    In my own theory, there is a 100% chance of aliens existing. If the universe is infinite, that means ANYTHING can happen. There could be a planet made of Adrien Brody's nipples, or potatoes, or fart gases, or chocolate, or peanut butter. So if it's infinite, then aliens MUST exist.

    I believe in aliens. I've never seen them before, but I'm sure humans might be able to see them in the next 30-100+ years or so

    ILLEGAL aliens are defiantly real!
    UFOS are defiantly reAl(Unifentified Flying Object) If you see one if CAN have an island on it but chances are its a weather bloon,military craft,ETC!
    ALIENS can be real-As you said they may not look like the sterotypical alien but they CAN BE REAL! I dont belive they have aliens in AREA 51 ONLY Military Weapons not accessable to the public!
