Creation Showcase (hiring) send me artists you like

details are vague for personal privacy reasons, but i will elaborate on specifics directly to interested candidates

i have a project (those who know me knows what this means), a presentation to pitch a bigger project. my budget for the presentation is tiny, and so i'm hoping to find a digital artist with a smaller following / up and comer / younger / circumstances of that nature y'know? I'm paying, that's a number I'll discuss with any interested candidates directly, but rest assured they are getting compensated with money and a chance to have the folks (with more $) seeing this presentation get to see their artwork. Schedule is super flexible, this is side work for me right now so the workload for the artist would not be insane. Given the slow pace, I estimate around a year to completion. If the presentation does well, I'll have more business opportunities of similar nature and with that, so will the artist.

Spoiler: all candidates will be considered, but being proficient in this style is a ticket to the shortlist.

I'm kind of disappointed in the lack of replies on this because everyone has an artist they're friends with or follow simply because they like the work

C'mon now, help your artist friend get some money. This pays well. I'd be a lil upset if my friends saw opportunities they know I'd be a good fit for and didn't fkn tell me

Again, if the work is good (in all phases, not just art), there will be numerous more opportunities for paid work for this artist down the road. Don't underestimate how good of an opportunity this can be for the right person

people on fiverr make the type of videos you're looking for, but it won't be pay per view like you were looking for, but just an idea

 

i think you'd be better off trying to get a professional hire from a website somewhere like twitter or actively seek out artists you wish to see an email them.
a lot of newer artist / animators dont like hopping into new projects inexperienced unless it's for a close friend / something they made themselves that they want to bring to life; also to mention i don't think many people here are artists willing to do a project this large for a year / have a friend who is, it's really REALLY hard to find that kind of dedication searching for it, nevertheless just out in the wild
