Minecraft Minecon

What do you do at minecon? I have always wanted to go. I know there's costume contests and meet famous youtubers. What else?

Who else wants to go to minecon or has been to minecon?

I would love to go, however, I have not had the opportunity to go.
If it was to come to Melbourne or even Sydney, I would beg and beg, just to go.
I don't even know what's at Minecon, yet I want to go soooo badly.

minecon UK ftw! also if i got the chance to go, i would most probably stalk youtubers, buy tons of mc merch, get a creeper head made out of cardboard, take pics, see if anyone from the j&h community is there, do more stalking, dress up as a creeper...

 

I hope Minecon is in Wyoming or a state near it this year. Its been everywhere out of reach for me. It needs a place I can get to without going on a plane.

 

If Minecon were to be somewhere in California this year, then I would have a better chance of going.

 

I hope it's in Midwest, then I can go there :D

Well I went to Minecon as well so let me explain.
At Minecon you can go to panels sometimes hosted by famous YouTubers, you can go to different booths showcasing lots of different items, selling stuff, there's computer set-ups so you can play different games by Mojang or many different versions of Minecraft. There's also booths hosted by large well know groups such as Team MVG, Planet Minecraft etc. There's different contests and meet and greets with YouTubers and Survival Games competitions exclusive to those at Minecon. You have your opening and closing ceremonies and question and answer sessions with panelisnts. Livestreams. Exhibits. Youtubers. Also, there's usually an after party on the first night of Minecon. Very fun and exciting :D

 

I was hoping they would do NYC last year. It was either that or Orlando. Why WOULDN'T they do NYC?
But they made it in Orlando.
New York City this year, pleeeeeease...

 

Somewhere near Wyoming PLEEEAAAASSSE. and xMisfitCow that sounds awesome but I am very shy so meeting people may be hard for me ._.

 

Apparently this year its going to be in Europe. Sorry to get your hopes down.

 

If it's going to be in Europe I probably won't go but if I ever do I'll probably go to all the booths and stores as well as all the attractions and ceremonies

 

Notch hasn't said anything about being in Europe. I've looked there is no official tweets about it so don't get your hopes up either for all we know it could be in Alaska or Japan
