What do y'all think about TikTok?

I enjoy TikTok.
I use it at home at times to just lay in bed and chill a bit having your daily dose of random nonsense blasted at you, and in very rare occasions I use it out of the house for the 3 minutes per day that I have nothing to do when I'm out.

I get the hate though, TikTok is my main shitposting app. I have an entire account dedicated to leaving mean comments, it's fun. But I do also actively report users on the app, you see a lot of adults try and trick under aged audiences into performing inappropriate dance moves or try to extort them in their live streams for money. This along side the never ending cliff hanger boring ''story time'' videos or the vague videos that make people go to your account are pure shit, but if you take some time to press ''not interested'' on those videos they will appear a lot less.
I can give endless examples on things TikTok should monitor more or discourage people from posting but I will hit the forum post limit.

I don't see how this is horrible, you legit have a rat race of girls who want to promote their lewdy sites which just leaves you with free eye candy for 15 seconds. As a rich Miami man once said ''You spend 100k (15 seconds) on them, that is chump change. In trade for what? Their youth. Who's playing who?'' Just scroll on it, think ''epic'' and scroll past. You got your hit, they got nothing.

I also watch a lot of cat and dog videos on the app..

 

Depends what part you're watching. Some of it is just boring and unfunny (celebrities pulling faces and doing a weird dance or some shit) some of it is stupidly edgy and some of it is funny. I mean sure if they want to be edgy as fuck why not but like. Some things just drip if edgyness and it makes me wish I was never born lol

Also I hate that stupid ass app it's retarded. The majority of the people on it are retarded too. But my bf does show me cat videos on it which are pretty cool
However that little bastard logged out of his account when I was on his phone to watch cat Tiktoks because he didn't want me to see his likes and yell at him but jokes on him I yelled at him anyways :* love u baby

 

I think Tik Tok is a fine app, Personally haven't used it since it came out. But what I do know is that it is a great app to lost yourself into and scroll for hours, It is something you can tune into if you are bored. But also it has some kind of an image that there is a lot of cringyness, yeah it has that but doesn't every single social media have cringe.

 

I use it all the time, I personally don't really like storytimes (I skip them whenever I can) because I'm that sensitive person who just wants to stay away from emotional things because that's just how I do.

My favourite TikToker is @shrey3nb and @caitlinandleahh (lesbian vibes amirite).

 

i enjoy scrolling through it and posting art videos and shit. Most of my feed is artists and small business owners anyways and i guess thats why i actually enjoy it. It's kinda cool to watch them draw and see how they make the stuff they're selling....(@gayastronautjewelery and @belexieshoppe have cute things)

but like other than those tiktoks i really enjoy @muslimthicc, @rukibizarre and @baselaughs content, they make me smile and laugh.

 

I actually don't use the app and don't plan on downloading it (especially after reading these comments that alot of people are addicted xD). What I do see is people making tiktoks (mostly teen girls). My first reaction is to cringe, but then I think meh, it's their thing. I don't get it, but they enjoy it, so whatever.

What I don't like is when people go on witch hunts just because someone has the app (looking at you reddit). Let people enjoy the stuff they like. They don't bother anyone with it, so why not just let them be. Ignoring something is better than leaving hateful comments.

the app has gotten very political in the past few years, but i see nothing wrong with it because politics is always something that should be talked about
i hate to say it but there are good and bad sides to app. for example, if you're on 'straight' tiktok i'm sorry, that's where people are probably seeing those lewd girls promote their stuff. 'alt' tiktok (the side that i'm on) has super funny memes and amazing content. chefs kiss. there's also sides like anime, republican, and democrat tiktok so yea, it really just depends on what you like.

Tik Tok has a terrible reputation, most likely because of what it used to be. It was just lip syncing, but now actually has some funny stuff that I really enjoy watching in my free time.
