Bring Back Battle Royale.

While I do greatly respect the founding fathers and the incredible job they did. They never could've anticipated where the country would end up 300 years later. There are several things that need changes but, the way our system works now makes it far too difficult. The last amendment was almost 30 years ago.

The founding fathers did not thing that career politicians would be a thing. In their time, you could go in for a couple of terms, and go back home to your farm or wherever. They did not think that some people would spend multiple decades in office, serving countless terms.

The founding fathers were afraid of the wrong group getting power. The constitution was made with the thought to prevent any one person from getting too much power, mainly the president. They didn't anticipate most of the power residing in the Congress like it is today. Any government agency who questions or even looks at Congress funny gets met with a slashed budget. If a government agency wants to not have their budget slashed, then they have to abide by the whims of Congress.

The constitution has a way built in for amendments to be made. But the amount of changes that should be made for the good of the people are so numerous, and the difficulty of even getting a single change to be considered is ridiculous.

I don't think the founding fathers expected their constitution to be the same one being used 300 years later. They probably expected us to take their framework, and redo it as the times change. While they are truly brilliant people who did an exceptional job, we need to stop glorifying that document like it was perfect, and make a new one that is better equipped for our time.
