It did cause more scams.

Now that we can use /trade, I've been scammed a few times. I begin the trade, i click accept, he removes the item and clicks accept. I knew this would cause more problems. I thought I would get 64 wood for 5 blaze rods. Nope. Is there a way I can prevent this? It's really annoying. I didn't report the players because I didn't know if this would be a valid problem.

 

Let him put the item first, then you put the item and quickly click Accept.

 

What I think JH should do is even I you accept and the item is taken out as you perform the action it automatically cancels the trade.

 

This idea can save alot of people. Just like the trading idea :3. I personally like the trading system but I don't use it as often. I didn't saw anyone scam with it yet in Skyblock2 though. But what if it automatically denies the trade so you're still in the trading interface when the other person takes a item out. I have heard this before in a different game but can't remember where :P.

 

Or just add a counter when both players accept the trade, then make it 3 seconds before the trade goes through, if they remove something from it or add the counter will be canceled.

 

I knew there would still be a way to scam with this! I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!

 

There are always ways to scam. It just takes a while for the scammers to find them, and when they do. There will be reports caused by trading xD.

Another problem! I tried to trade with my friend, and the item he gave me disappeared. He stayed there and killed himself, and so did I, but we still do not have our item. It was a Silk Touch 1 diamond pickaxe, and it is nowhere to be found.

 

As i've seen you can't trade a item for air. The other person has to put a item in too.

 

I don't know what happened then...

I've got scammed a couple of times because of /trade. I traded 6 diamonds for obsidian, but i got nothing and they got my 6 diamonds.

 

It's possible since I did it once too, but it seems too glitch sometimes since somebody lost their item when trading something for air.

 

Oh my god. Guys, chest shop is still there. Don't badger about trade if you don't like it.

Same thing with everything else that had these outcomes. Porno skins, chat proximity, and the trade plugin. If you don't like it, ignore it. Because badgering and bitching about it isn't gonna fix anything. If you have a different idea than the trade plugin, suggest it ffs. And finally, a quote to sum it all up:

Its a bit buggy, I tried it with someone else and I could fast remove the item and I still got his stuff and he didn't got mine (Gave it him thou :P) But most of the time you can't "bypass" it.

 

I haven't had any bugs with this plugin maybe its because I've only done it a few times

 

Well maybe it's a glitch. I do not receive items when I trade. I have recently discovered this. I have traded with several people and have lost wood, enchanted diamond pickaxes, food, and many other things. What should I do? The other person gets the item but I don't.
