Battle Royales in general are pretty mediocre unless you consider Battlefield a br. That game series is a masterpiece
In fortnite its just that if you get hit once OH JUST BUILD A FUCKING TOWER like its so easy tbh and the one who has high ground always wins and its just so boring oof.
It really all depends on how you view a game; in my mind there's no definite description of a "bad" or "good" game Regarding Fortnite though, it takes aspects of other games and compile it into one-aka a copycat except it does some of these aspects better considering how much money it's probably rolling in. I personally don't like it but people have their preferences
