We need to make a change

Okay so I know there has been many threads complaining about how the server changed and how the owners are less active, to narrow it down there's a lot of people complaining. Yes I do agree the server changed but we should just go with the flow. The server would be better if everyone stopped complaining. The server isn't going to get better by complaining about it we have to do something.
For example, a lot of people are complaining about staff inactivity,but they have a life and even if they are not online they could still be doing something for the server or online on the forums. We need to make a change and stop watching the server get worse, we have to work together as a community. The threads saying how bad the server is isn't making anything better.
So please stop complaining, and we can try to make the server better. We can stop hating everything and everyone and see the positive sides of the server. We can all be friends and this server will have happier players and it will be better,

And, Let me clear this up. It's 2 Juniors in a Dutch(Thanks to Joey and Wiki for correcting me :)) HighSchool, with about 1-2 hours on weekdays, and 3-4 hours on weekends to do coding for the server. Let's see you guys code major plugins in a week or two, without failing school or loosing your social life. So please, don't bitch about the server unless you think you can do more. If you do think you can code better, show us. Show us these giant plugins you made in less than a week.

That's the point. People seem to forget that the internet is just a faster, anonymous, interactive area for real people to share ideas and feeling. real people who have lives like the people reading this post. And the trolls, people who can't get attention outside a computer, so they have to try to get it from others online.

 

I don't get what the point in make this thread was. You think this very thread will make people stop complaining? And I think the staff of the server are very active. Especially the new staff of the server.

Yeah I agree with this. Every day I see people saying " Where's Harry? " or " Where's Jerry? " when they don't realize that they have so much to do and so little time to spend being on the server. As for the other staff members, I do see them come on pretty often so there's no big problem there but I do feel that people need to quit whining when Jerry and/or Harry aren't on for every single second of the day.

 

I'm trying to do something for the server, I'm trying to suggest for people to stop and look at the positives. I want the server to be better

People make threads like this to get everyone on the same page. Everyone on same page = peace. What's the difference between this thread and many other threads that bitch about problems? This one gives some solutions. As I always say, don't complain if you can't give solutions.

 

By staff, she means the owners, builders, coders and other schtuff. The Helpers and Mods are all very active, but they can't exactly go around building things and coding the server. They are there to help out the new members and control the smaller things, not coding and programming plugins :)

The point was to try and make people understand that JH have a life apart from MC, so that people will understand. If you didn't get something or saw it in a different (more negative) view, then you would have your argument and be all complainy but if you see it from her POV, Jmoz is trying to say JH can't spend their 24/7 lives running a server. :P

I agree Jmoz because some people who complain say " I support this server ", but all they do mostly is complain about this problem. If they say they want to support the server they shouldn't be hating. If you hate just keep it to yourself. Its better to say good things about this server.

 

AGREED. I know how to code, and its actually really hard. My dad is a computer programmer and it takes him months to develop a simple stock tracker. Can you imagine all the work it takes to code a whole server plugin? All im trying to say is, that it's not as easy as it appears to be. Plz, nu flame wars.

 

Coming from how coding is a time-consuming effort that requires a lot of skill to perform I can see why Jerry and Harry hardly have any free time on their hands. I think we should all learn how to live with the people that the server is named after not being on all the time
