My school banned all the balls in recess

In my school, they just banned basketballs and any other sport ball for recess, now everyone is playing "Duck, Duck, Goose".

I have a picture, I'll get it soon. But lol. It happened because a kid in 9th grade accidently headbutted a girl in my 8th grade. They thought it was on purpose and thought the basketballs are invading the kids' head. So they banned it. Now Healthy Active Time is: "Unhealthy active time".

 

When I was younger, still in Elementary school, I got dodge ball banned because I caught a ball that like bent my finger back or something like that, so that's why dodge-ball is banned in my old school haha.

 

What the fuck goes on in some of these adults' heads

 

i go to a nerd school, in my school people do their math homework at recess i fucking hate my school the only sports we can play are babyfoot or ping pong lol

But seriously that doesn’t seem fair at all, like if you don’t want to be hit by a ball then don’t go by the games with sports in them. They shouldn’t shut down the balls for everybody in the school :(

 

Years ago in primary school, they banned footballs and stuff on the playground and claimed it was dangerous, then told everyone to use a tennis ball instead... wtf logic is that

Just start an "underground" fighting dojo, its what my friends and I did during school. Especially during winter when body slams and take downs didn't hurt as much lmao

 

Wow, all your schools are authoritarian. My school allows phones during break and lunch time, and in the field, we usually kick the football as hard as possible onto another person, rough, I know, but it's fun as hell, no one has a problem with it.

 

This sounds like something out of an over-the-top comedy, not real fucking life.

Greek schools dont have balls :) they have been banned for ages now
And phones are banned but we all have them with us cuz edgy teens

 

My school doesn’t give a damn about what happens at recess one time a couple kids got in a fight and the teachers just stood and watched

 

We played a game where you would have to shoot the ball through the other persons legs and then touch it again afterwards, then that person would have to bend over and you get to shoot at them hoping to hit their ass with the ball.

You should smuggle a ball in your clothes and pull it out during break time, you will be an armed and dangerous person in possession of a illegal ball
