So, I was thinking about this last night. I believe the statement is false, because, money can buy you happiness in forms of things like, games, food, blankets, etcetc. I dont know, what do yall think about it? 'Money cant buy you happiness.'
I don't think money can buy you happiness directly unless you refer to happiness as a proper noun for some reason.
It can't. Can you really buy the best of friends? No. Can it buy you an education to get a good job? No. There are so many things in life that money can't buy.
Obviously if you don't have money for food and blankets you won't be happy. But that doesn't mean people who do have food and blankets will automatically be happy.
I think the wording of it makes the phrase more of a trick question. Yes, money can buy you happiness, but that happiness, more or less, isn't permanent.
You can't buy your way to happiness. If you buy something that makes you above all happy, it's only temporary.
To me, money can and can not buy someone happiness seeing as it depends really on what makes someone happy. If it were me in the situation, unless if money can help my family/loved ones with financial income, ensure they are cared for for their entire lives, and that that we can all live happily, then it can't. It's different for different people so it can go either way
Money can buy you happiness, but it will end at one point in time so it's not a permanent thing such as a relationship, a close friend or anything that's living. Yeah sure, I can buy a dog for an example, but that's not money making me happy, it's the dog so, yes, money can't buy you happiness that's permanently only temporary. I'm saying this from personal experience, I tried to buy myself things which got me really happy for a month or two but got boring quickly. Yeah a few people are bathing in money so that's surely where that came from. They buy things each day and they are enjoying it like nobody else but us normal people with jobs we can't experience the same. If I'm going to answer your question it's actually both true and false. It all depends on the person and their desires.
I think money can buy happiness. TBH I don't think "permanent" happiness even exists. Issues will always arise. If you can spend your money on something that will make you happy... then even if it was short you made yourself happy.
Money can buy comfort and stability but it won't ever buy you happiness. Money cannot buy you friends, a loving family, a good partner etc, which is what we typically look for for happiness. Money will never buy you complete happiness as so much of us think/wish.
If I had the money to move to the city/state my closest friend lives in, I'd be pretty damn happy for quite awhile. Everyone is their own person, but for me money sure fuckin' could buy me happiness. Edit: I also get genuine joy from giving out gifts that people like, so if I had the money to do that all the time I'd be pretty happy.
