The End Of An Era

Welp, it's come to the end of an era.
Many of you won't know what I'm talking about and that's good cause I mean who would actually care about this other than me.

Gangnam Style is just about to be taken over in views by See You Again.
As many of you know Gangnam Style was one of the biggest trends ever with many people joining in with this new dance craze ranging from David Cameron(British Prime Minister) to Barrack Obama(American President).
Gangnam Style has held the #1 spot for most views for about 4 years and two thirds meaning it holds the record for the longest time at number 1.
With See You Again gaining many more views than Gangnam per hour it's only a matter of time before it's overtaken.

Now some of you may be wondering why the hell does someone care about a dumb song from 5 years ago that was a trend and is now the most irritating song. Well this is what I say:

IDC IF THIS IS CHEESY.
Gangnam Style showed the world that different genres of music could be just as popular as others and that everyone can embrace different cultures as if it were there own.
It showed that everyone on every continent could 'unite' for once and join in on this fun but mad trend.
Also it even got mentioned by world leaders about how things like this can move us towards 'peace' which is quite amazing!

Even though it may be very influential, well at least it was influential, I personally also respect the song for the memories that it holds for me, for the good times that I've had listening too it and all the great memories linked to it.
A time when I had some great friends whom I now haven't talked to in a few years, and a time when I'd only played Minecraft for just under a year (or thereabouts) and couldn't imagine what Minecraft would become, what great memories I would create on here and how many great times I would experience.

So I thank Gangnam Style for the great memories it has helped me create and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Minecraft as a whole and even though this seems stupid and pointless these are the types of things that help us to create memories and no matter what source/platform it's through, most of us still have links to good memories and those memories are what builds our character and builds who we are today.

A) It was in a movie
B) It was used for every sad compilation for a while after its release
C) It's Wiz Kalifa

Yes wow, I did not realize that Gangnam style affected the world like that, it's crazy how a silly trend and a silly music video can influent the world and impact it this way, and I hope to see what the world will offer in the future, See you again is a great song I love it.
