Hey Fans,

This is the earliest we have ever made an announcement about upcoming changes to the server.

We had stated a couple years back that our objective was to maintain the remaining game modes for as long as the server remains open and that you could expect no more removal of games and probably also no more real updates or resets. With that said it has been 2 years and it feels as though change is now a must.

This will be no surprise to anyone, but prior to the start of summer we intend to shut down the Prison game mode. All other game modes will remain active.

In January we began development of a brand new original game mode that will take the place of the Prison server. We are not ready to announce details on this game mode at this time, but we will identify it as a hardcore survival RPG. The game is designed to be challenging, strategic, and enjoyable as a solo player, though that does not mean you cannot enjoy it with friends or be competitive.

Our next announcement about this game mode will happen when we are ready for release.
