Why Judge?

We all have experienced this, dealt with it, and have had our feelings hurt because of it. The act of judging someone for who they are, what you hear about them, or just to judge them in a bullying way. This isn't right. The reason why society is so messed up is because we have judged one another a lot. You may be wondering why I am talking about this topic, so I'll explain. About a month or so ago I did some uhm, bad things to say, and I regret it. However, word got around and I'm currently getting hate and judged for this, which I don't really mind seeing as I can take this kind of hate. However, just because I made this mistake once, doesn't mean I'll do it a second, third, fourth or fifth time. If someone did something bad, you're just gonna use that 1 thing the person did as a result to put them down or hate them? I believe the world would be better if we all could just accept and forgive certain things, not just judge a person by 1 or 2 actions they did, but by their personality.

On a side note, I'm publically apologizing to everyone involved or heard of that incident about me. I do regret what I did and I hope we can move past this.

Judging nowadays has gotten out of hand. People judge others for looks, size, gender or sexuality, and unfortunately, that's just society.
I recently have been getting judged and bullied at school, resulting in me moving. That is how bad bullying and judging gets to people. It lowers peoples self-esteem and just their whole mood.
Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone learns from their mistakes.
[None of us should be defined different based on the mistakes we have made],
because we are all humans, and we all are going to get caught up in situations we wish never even began.
Honestly, many people judge, but they don't realize, they could have been in the exact same situation. How would judging feel to them?
I wish judging in our society will come to a closure, but, to me, when people judge me, it somewhat makes me a stronger person.

I've seen you posting on the forums a lot about this situation that has happened to you, but if it's not something 100% public, then I don't think you should be posting it as often as you are.
It's gonna drive people to want to either ask you for what happened, or ask others. That's how rumors and fake stories are created.

Even though I agree it's not right of people to harass and bully, how do they know you won't make a mistake more than once? They don't.

I don't think thats ever going to be a thing. Everybody has different preferences of what is something that can be forgiven, and what can't be forgiven.
But, giving second chances is a different story.

I'm confused, because you said that nobody should be hated on for their actions, but you're saying that you're letting people hate on you? That's unfair to you. Don't let people bully you.

I think judging people period and judging people without getting to truly know them are two different things and there's nothing wrong with them at an extent.
I honestly have to be a judge, and so does everyone else when it comes to who they can trust. It truly comes down to who you trust.

 

Judging is horrible, especially when it gets out of hand. Judging has hurt me. I'm the "fat chick", the "nerd girl", and the "computer geek." Trust me, that doesn't exactly get you that good of a rep in school or friends.

HOWEVER, you can combat judgement. You showing someone your personality can and will change their feelings about you, since judging is usually just because of looks, common actions, and reputation.

Just stay cool, have close friends, and don't let anything get to you. You can do it, whoever you are.

 

Dont worry Harold you have people like me who have no idea about things like this that happen and can listen to you with 0 bias.
Lucky for you, people forgive you easily and move on from stuff. Honestly I've asked the same questions so many times and everything ends up being my fault. Don't let those people stop you from being you. I hope all the shit and hate ends for you.

Wtf lol you guys make judging sounds so bad even though it really isn't. Judging is a natural thing, you can't just ask people not to judge because you are 100% being hypocritical. However, you could ask people not to express their judgments when they aren't necessary.
When you think someone is friendly, you're judging them. When you see a big scary with a knife at night and you're alone, you're getting scared before he does anything. You're doing the right thing - judging him and making the right decision.
Judging doesn't "ruin the society", that's ridiculous.

Everyone judges people for their actions not for their personality and you do the same exact thing while you're here saying that people shouldn't be judged by their actions but for their personality.

You can't just publically say this and except everyone to forgive you, and this isn't the "first" time this has happened.. You haven't apologized to any of us privately, either. This whole thing shouldn't even be publically said. This whole thread is hypocritical, you can't act like you don't judge people because of their past (cough me). But whatever, that's none of my business. Let me count how many times you've done this to any of us. hm.. 1, Lucy 2, Nicole.. hmm I think I could keep going on but I'd rather not. If you want people to forgive you then maybe address them privately? because saying this where everyone can see it doesn't make the situation any better in your spot, in fact I'm pretty sure it makes it a lot harder on you. Good luck getting everyone to forgive you. Thank you for having all of your friends threaten me, too (although I wasn't the cause of any of this???) I was very scared. Hm I'm pretty sure because of all of this I have made a few pretty good friends, thank you. I'm sure most of the people who have forgiven you don't even know the whole story behind this.. But whatever, like I said before, that's not any of my business.

Why would we not ignore you? But let's be real here, I'm pretty sure all of us were fighting before any of this, anyways. I also feel as if we did accept your apology nothing would change but that's just my opinion.

 

It's seemed to have cooled off for now, but yes we were all fighting before any of this. Actually you are right, I don't even know you were drug into this situation.

My friends do as they please, I can't tell them what to do. I can ask them to stop, though idk if they would accept.
