I'm sorry making people mad is "Harassment." Only one account of this actually happened.
In the year and a half I've been playing this server, I wouldn't have ever guessed that this would happen. The way I acted is not harassment. It's the way I act. Quoting a previous post that I made, wrong and right is still an opinion. I honestly loved the staff back in 2014, hanging out with @Radii when she was still lilarok, and a penguin. It is sad that I had to get banned. @Zackery also said that the staff team was corrupt, and never have I been more impressed in the courage to say that, as Zack was a staff member just 2 months ago. The decisions I made were the ones that you didn't like, or someone on these forums didn't like. I have no idea if I was banned directly by a staff member or reported by a regular user, but it equally ticks me off that I have a consequence that seems too exaggerated (one month! my last ban was in mid 2015) for an 11 year old child who wants to act in a way that helps myself and myself only. Everyone tries to do this. Yet in the end, the rules made by some people that are only 2 - 10 years older than you will always strike you down.
Also, with the ban system...
People should have their ban time extended only based on the severity of their action. If the victim is mentally scarred for life over the pixels on their screen, then that should be a permanent ban. If the person sends some pixels on a screen to a mass public named itsjerryandharry, and only a small group of people get mad at it, then they should be punished for 2 weeks or lower. But what happens is, instead, a person who has committed a sequence of internet crimes over a period of forever, gets something that goes like 1 day to 1 week to 1 month to perm.
1 month should not equal forever. It should equal a month and 2 weeks. Or something else, I don't know. What I'm saying is that people should get bans based on what they did instead of how many times they did it.
I might edit this later.

 

Staff are specially picked, and know what they're doing. I personally think that you should ponder what you said/did in the time leading up to your ban. Make sure you also review the J&H rules, they could've changed since the last time you've reviewed them.

If you still don't know exactly what you did wrong, you should P.M. a/the staff member that banned you (If you know) and they may be able to explain their reason.

P.S.
Staff members volunteer hours of their time to make our community a better place. It's disrespectful to rant on about them, and diss them.

 

Staff are specially picked based off of their writing abilities and connections to other staff. What I did is the same as what I do everywhere else. The J&H rules haven't changed. I don't know who banned me. Rants are complaints. Complaints are used to make communities better.
But what type of person would let a person insignificant as me change anything?

 

There's a "Suggestions" sub-forum, you can rant all you want there. If you don't like this community, don't waste your and our time by providing unhelpful complaints.

There are hundreds of helpful and friendly folks here. Maybe if you'd change your attitude you could see that, and help our community grow as well.

Jerry, Harry, and William, (All the other staff too) have put thousands of hours creating this community. Unless you could do that, I'd suggest you not accuse the system of being corrupt. Maybe you could actually help fix flaws, instead of pointing them out without evidence, and doing nothing about them but whining.

Anyone above age 5 can use their fingers to type something up and take like 2 hours.
Thousands of hours creating this community would be incorrect. It would be more like a few days of coding and some setting up of plugins.
Personality can't be proven.
If I put a rant in the suggestions subforum, it would neither be accepted nor denied.
It wouldn't change the community, and the community would react in the same way as you are right now.

 

Well, if you'd ever read the staff application requirements, you'd know you must be 13 to submit an application.

Could you set up a huge server at all? No. So don't judge J&Hs' work.

A rant, no. But a well-written and thought out suggestion will definitely get community attention at some point. Rants are hard to read, and are basically raw pieces of anger transcribed into text. Whining and complaining is annoying, that's why we all do our best to be mature citizens of the community.

Huge is an overstatement.
A rant is a complaint. I said that already. And this post itself is enough community attention.

You just shouldn't criticize someone who does something you can't do.

I'm sorry if you can only see the small flaws in this community, and I still think you should at least try to be empathetic.

 

I don't know who you are, but to me it seems like you're just having a hard time accepting the rules, thinking your own behaviour is always superior to these rules.

So, because it's the way you act it can automatically not be harassment? That doesn't make sense.

To check who banned you check your conversations a mod should've sent you an automated message, whoever that mod was, was the person who banned you.

You like to rant, but apparently it got people mad and they reported it as harassment which is messed up and if you were falsely banned from the mod who reported you, report abuse them bro

The chances are if you report abuse them 10 staffs will defend their $@#%^ off just for 1 staff

They will hardly let you speak tbh, because there are like 7 staffs trying to defend 1 mod which is annoying as fuck. Staff system is messed up, and if the report abuse is just 10 staffs trying to defend 1 staff then remove report abuse what's the point if staffs act like that

Obviously children are immature. We're children. How do you expect children to act like grown men? That's extremely petty on your part. All of us children think that the world is on our toes. I'm like that, yes, but in no way was I intentionally making people mad. I complain because there's no rule against complaining. I only complain about things on this forum, so what's the purpose of putting it elsewhere? Only a select few people would know if I put it on a different forum.
Most kids my age are in fact toxic as all hell. Even though people only started using the word "toxic" to describe kids since the reaction-commentary era of youtube, which apparently takes up most of the views of people who want to see how other people live worse lives or make worse choices than themselves.
Isn't life an illusion? Like it's going to last forever. I spend my time the way I like to spend my time. Ranting. And you spend your time making children feel like toddlers. That's bad on your part.
I love this forum. I give myself the right to act the way I like. If a certain rule comes along and tries to stop all of the "wrong-doings" I've committed, I'll just tone it down a bit ;>
On a cosmic scale though, our lives are equally as lame. Our lives make up the tiniest percentage of the universe. So what does it matter that I've done something wrong? It doesn't matter. We'll all die and forget everything we've done wrong because we're, well, dead! We can't think anymore. We're just becoming fertilizer for another tree.

You repeatedly make these threads where you call out things in the community that make it "worse". There has barely been that much drama recently from my pov and that's because you were banned. Now that you're back, you've already made 2 of these threads that have the same message of likes being "bad" or some sarcastic way of actually harassing people. That's causing an issue in the forums. No this isn't a perfect forum, but being making these annoying threads 24/7 makes it worse and worse. Look at this stupid argument that could have been avoided, like what? Calling each other stubborn immature or whatever it is?? THAT is stubborn and immature. That's hypocrisy.
You need to just stop making these threads they serve no purpose and just cause drama. Plus, they're annoying because you literally call people out.

 

Hello Mocosloco. I've read your thread and I've decided to just comment on certain parts of it.

What you said about the staff team has been said many...many times by multiple people here so going into a discussion on that is not necessary. However I encourage you to bring it up privately with owners. I will say though that these speculations and conspiracies are mainly drawn from sources that are not reliable. Things can be twisted in many ways and without sounding too hostile, you don't know how staff works here.

This is true. If a community doesn't speak out to its owners and staff, we wouldn't know if there is a problem. Here is the thing. This has been mentioned so many times that I'm nearly hearing it in my head when I sleep. It also depends on how you say it. Let me give you an example.

If I make a complaint about my hotel room because it is in a bad condition, I will calmly explain to the owner why I am unsatisfied with my room. What you don't do is march to the desk and start attacking them and calling them all the names under the sun. They have every right to kick you, call security, etc. The same should apply to here, albeit we have heard this issues over and over again, if you're unhappy, talk to someone in private. Threads like these just add fuel to the fire. So I am offering you the chance to message me over inbox on the forums and I will listen to you and talk it out.

I see where you are coming from but this is sort of contradicting making this point very confusing. If I am committing the same offence over and over again. While it's not severe in it's context, the fact that it's being done over and over again is severe in itself. Wouldn't you agree?

You say you're 11, so you're quite young. You have stated that children are immature and that is true (usually). It doesn't give anyone the excuse to cause any offence of any severity. The rules apply to everyone. Yes children are here and they are bound to make mistakes and we understand that, but there is only so much someone can do, child, teen or adult, where we have to draw the line. We learn from these mistakes and that is what we issues these warnings/bans for. If they are to come back and make these mistakes again, we will have a better idea on what their fate is.
