Apple vs Android

Isn't the iPhone far more superior than Android devices?

 

depends what you want in a device. If you want something thats cheap, has a good camera or has a massive screen, then Android hands down. If you want easy to use and well integrated (into Apple products) software, then an iPhone, personally I think the iPhone is the best all-rounder, but does that mean I'll buy one? Probably not.

 

Personally I'm biased for android due to my great experience with them and sub-par for apple. Really though, with apple you know what you're getting and it's the same overpriced iPhone every year. With android, the market is so vast that you're certain to get the perfect phone for you, most likely at a cheaper price than Apple.

 

You can get better Android phones for a cheaper price than the iPhone.

The only two reasons to get an iPhone is if you like the OS or if you're already deep in their eco system (two completely logical reasons, btw, no sarcasm). Other than that, it's pretty much a fact that Pixels, Notes, Mates or even OnePlus phones beat iPhones in most fields (except maybe video shooting if you're into that).

iPhones aren't bad phones, they're just pricy.

Is it just me or do iphones get more annoying each year? dongle, no home button, the notch at the top, I find the only face id thing annoying as well :/
I never had one but now I definetly won't

Apple is the more preferred brand based on consumer opinions. But from what I see, apple phones are overpriced and can wear out quickly when compared to any other brand.

Edit: this doesn't mean Androids are better or iPhones are better. Simply shows which market is stronger where and what the audience prefers to buy there. In agreement with Harry: there is a wider selection of Android phones for different consumers and at different price points so obviously they will be more popular worldwide.

 

I recently bought a phone from a certain website, and an iPhone 6S is still on there and has lower specs than what I got, but is more expensive. Like TheMint said, it's better to get one if you're already on the Apple ecosystem, otherwise it's gonna cost you a lot more if you want the full package (iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods). Doing the whole math from the prices I saw on Amazon, it would cost you nearly 2000 euros to get into the ecosystem as a completely new user. Also, in a video I saw once, it says that most of the iPhone's price is the Apple brand and the software itself, that the actual hardware isn't that valuable compared to what they put in it. So it's Android for me.

I like iPhones, they're the only phones I've ever used, but at some point in time I did want an android. Now I'm not so sure but it would be cool to have one, imo.

 

the screen to body ratio is awesome but android phones have that too. also the're colorful an pretty but you wouldn't see that from the case anyway...well unless you don't put a case on which is just dancing on thin ice in my opinion. But yeah it looks pretty nice. I just care more about how it works than how it looks. (and what it costs lolol)

 

I recently switched from Android to iOS, and I really like the iPhone a lot more up to now. I think it’s a phone that’s more suited towards me and it definitely is an upgrade compared to the old phone I had. However I do think both operating systems are good; it really just depends on what model you get. If you prefer Android that’s cool, if you prefer iOS that’s cool too. I, personally, like iOS a lot more, and if you ask me what would be a better phone, I’d recommend seeing what suits you best and what’s more convenient for you :)
